Mary Ellen Elliott

Mary Ellen Elliott, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Mary Ellen was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 28, 1936 to Bill “Coach” and Betty (Bodner) Sharp. Mary Ellen was a dedicated teacher at Van Buren Elementary School for over 30 years.

Mary Ellen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ted Elliott; her step-son, Michael (Jennifer) Elliott; her brother, Jim (Cindy) Sharp; her daughter-in-law, Jeanine Dobson; her grandchildren, Victoria Morehead, Ian Elliott and Emma Elliott; her niece, Stacey Cavanaugh; and her nephews, Scott Sharp and Todd (Jackie) Sharp. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Bill “Coach” Sharp; and her son, Brian Dobson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
