Mary A. Franchini, age 71 of Seven Mile, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was born in Pike County, KY on February 4, 1942 to Hubert and Marie (Parsons) Scalf. On August 11, 1961 in Hamilton she married Bruce Franchini, who preceded her in death in 1999. Mary worked as a beautician at West Side Beauty Salon, and at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was a volunteer at Hospice for many years.
She is survived by hers sons, Brad Franchini, Jan Franchini, and Kris (Barbara) Franchini; step-grandchildren, Danielle Kaskel, and Joshua Kaskel; sisters, Anne Pedersen, and Donna Scalf. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Scalf.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
