Mary F. Garrett

Mary F. Garrett, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 7, 1956 to John Barrett and Helen (Bowles) Barrett. She was a wonderful person who loved taking care of people and keeping them in line. Every holiday, Mary would invite anyone and everyone to her house to eat. She made friends everywhere she went, and she deeply loved her dogs, grandbabies and great-grandbabies. Mary was an extremely selfless and hard working woman until the very end. She enjoyed reading, cooking, going to the casino, and having a few drinks with her friends.

Mary is survived by her husband of 25 years, Randy Garrett; children, Tina (Billy) Lyons and Clarence Wagers; grandchildren, Scott (Sara) Lyons, Tiffany (Tanner) Martin, Jameson Wagers and Jessica Reese; great-grandchildren, Isabella Lyons and Faith Lyons; siblings,  Valerie (Gary) Leinig, Pamela (Michael) Pierre and Timothy Barrett; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny Barrett and Larry Barrett Jr.; niece, Barbara Cunningham; and nephew, Kevin Barrett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
