Mary Lou Glover, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on December 1, 2016. Mary Lou was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 4, 1934 to Theodore Groth and Elenor (Meyer) Groth. Mary Lou planned and organized the Christmas Walk in Metamora, IN; she also ran the Towpath Gift Shop in Metamora for 20 years; Mary Lou enjoyed making floral arrangements for various places; she was an active member of the YMCA; Mary Lou was also a member of the Red Hat Society, and a supporter of the Humane Society. On August 8, 1952, she married Robert Glover.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Robert Glover; three children, Bonnie (Steve) Clark, Mike (Linda) Glover, and Tim Glover; two grandchildren, Valerie Britton and Gared Glover; and one sister, Edna Steinmetz. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Elenor Groth and Theodore Groth.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 11:00AM with Fr. James Wedig of Queen of Peace Catholic Church celebrant. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave.
