Mary Joan Hamblen

Mary Joan Hamblen, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 4:50 P.M. Mary was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on May 24, 1937 to the late Almer R. and Geneva (Holland) Hedges. She worked for K-Mart in Pleasant Ridge for 25 years. Mary was a wonderful, caring soul that loved people. Mary was the matriarch of her family and will be dearly missed. Mary is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Robert) Trusty, Joni (Joe) Johnson; her son, Paul (Sandy) Hamblen, Jr.; her grandchildren, James Clark, Shaun (Stephanie) Clark, Amber Boeing, Samantha (Donald) Wells, Holly (Johnny) Frye, Enoch Wesley, Jr. and Lucas Krumenauer; her sister, Elizabeth Hayes, as well as 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hamblen, her sister, Barbara Franklin; her brother, Almer Hedges; and her granddaughter, Tiffany Hamblen.
