Mary Ann (Russell) Hudson

Mary Ann (Russell) Hudson, age 76 of Seven Mile passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She had fought the good fight and finished her race triumphantly after a prolonged illness. Her constant love and concern for others and sweet spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew her She faithfully attended the Trenton Church of the Nazarene and was a lifetime volunteer at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Okeana on January 10, 1933 the daughter of Alford and Ada (Starr) Russell.

Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Leonard Hudson of Seven Mile; two children, John (Pamela) Hudson of Hamilton and Pam (Mike) Day of Seven Mile; five grandchildren, Mickel (Kristin) Day of Owasso, Oklahoma, John (Cari) Day of Seven Mile, Matthew (Laura) Day of Ft. Benning, Georgia, Dr. Ryan (Agra) Hudson, MD of Kirkland, Washington, and Sarah (Bryan) Waechter of Richmond, Virginia; eight great-grandchildren, Mickela, Wyatt, Lilian, Emery, Hudson, Madylin, Olivia, and Elizabeth Day; and many special cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ruth Grollmus.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Paul Mills of Trenton Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati for all their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trenton Church of the Nazarene, in her memory or Hospice of Cincinnati.
