Mary R. Hughett

Mary R. Hughett, age 73 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 10:05 AM. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on April 29, 1940 the daughter of Arthur W. and Naomi (Hoskins) Brumett. Mary came to the Hamilton area at age ten and attended Fairfield Schools. She attended Greenhills United Baptist Church and was member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, and the Hamilton Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her three children, Bill (Sandra) Dankhoff of Hamilton, Teresa R. (Ronald) Moore of Ross Township, and Tamie (Bob) Ritter of Harrison; three siblings, Verinda Richter of Fairfield, Arthur L. (Sherry) Brumett of Cleveland, Ohio, and Norma Gilbert of Cherry Fork, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Ron (Katie) Moore, Jason (Misty) Moore, Brittany Hughett, Sarah Hughett, Adam Hughett, Austin (Lauren) Dankhoff, and Kyle (Sarah) Dankhoff; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Tim Mullins of Greenhills United Baptist Church officiating. Committal service will be held Thursday at Cherry Fork Cemetery, Adams County, Ohio at 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Pete Scheidler, Vitas Hospice Cincinnati Team 605, and our friends and loved ones for all their wonderful care and support in this most difficult time.
