Mary Marie "Sissy" Ivey

Mary Marie "Sissy" Ivey, age 37 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 9:55 AM. She was born in Hamilton on May 24, 1970 the daughter of James and Freddie (Tackett) Ivey. Sissy was a member of Happy Corner Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a son, Tony Spicer of Hamilton; her mother, Freddie Ivey of Hamilton; two brothers, Kenneth (Terri) Frederick of Richmond, Indiana and James Scott Ivey of Hamilton; a sister, Tracy Ivey; nephews Charlie Frederick, Kenneth Frederick, Robbie Frederick, Steve Lacey, Josh Ivey, and DJ Ivey; two aunts, Kathy Palmieri and Mary Day; an uncle, Terry Plummer; a special friend, Tammy; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Ivey; grandparents James and Virgie Plummer and Bev and Bessie Ivey; an uncle, Jimbo Plummer; and a cousin, Miranda Palmieri.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Danny Partin, Associate Pastor of Happy Corner Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
