Mary L. Jackson, age 78 of Davenport, Florida passed away at Heart of Florida Medical Center on Monday, December 7, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on December 5, 1931 the daughter of Louis F. and Gertrude (Keller) Sauer.
She is survived by three children, Dennis (Monica) Jackson of Highland, Indiana, Shelia (Roger) Carr of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Paula (Gary) Zonno of Davenport, Florida; a brother, Robert Sauer of Liberty, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Louis J. Sauer; and a granddaughter, Diane Allen.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 9:30 AM with Father Patrick Duffy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
