Mary "Kathy" Katherine Kirby

Mary "Kathy" Katherine (Daniels) KIRBY, age 60, of Hamilton, OH passed away early Monday morning on September 26, 2016, at her home in Hamilton, OH. Kathy was born on October 21, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, the Daughter of Luther and Mary (Gabbard) Daniels.

On February 27, 1988 Kathy married her true soul mate, Michael Patrick Kirby in St. Petersburg, FL. Words cannot describe the treasure that we were all blessed with, to have Kathy in our lives. Kathy was the most incredible Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Friend that you could ever have. She was a true Christian Women, she always put God first in her life and lived every day for Jesus first and her family. Kathy loved spending time with her husband and family, planning events, picnics, birthdays and holidays, making everyone around her feel so special. Kathy loved life and wanted to live life to its fullest. She loved the outdoors, gardening, and planting her flowers, traveling, decorating her home, shopping, (especially the Dollar Store), trying new restaurants, cooking, baking, going to the beach, boating, planning fun things with her husband and kids, attending festivals and craft shows, crafting, especially with photos, and creating gift bags for the people she loved, and so much more. Kathy also had an impressive work history and career path in the legal field her entire life, as well as working on the many class action suits and with several prominent law firms and attorneys. She and her husband Michael, were called into Ministry and together, they Pastored Mayhill Church of Christ, in Ohio, First Christian Church in Canadian, TX, Central Christian Church in Tampa, FL, and LifePoint Christian Church in New Port Richey, FL. Kathy was the perfect Pastor’s wife, but more than that to her husband, she was every bit the virtuous women of Proverbs 31:10-31. Their home Church is Grace Chapel of Praise with Pastor Josh Willis. She made her family so proud of her always and we all looked up to her and aspired to be more like her or just like her, not to mention her beauty and style. Kathy was determined not to ever surrender her style and beauty even up to the very end. Her beauty was radiant and indescribable from the inside out and we will carry that with us always, while never forgetting her smile, her laugh, her hug, the sound of her voice and even her touch.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Patrick Kirby, her children, Kristofor Brock DeBord, Fiancé, Melanie Lynn Stegman, with four children, Avery Stegman and Austin Stegman, Evan Wayne DeBord and Emma Katherine DeBord (twins), Kimberly Danielle Sexton (DeBord), married to Matthew Sexton with two children, Bryson Matthew Sexton and Brielle Isabella Sexton, Charles Michael Kirby, married to Sarah (Mercer) Kirby, Daniel Patrick Kirby, married to Charity (Carter) Kirby, with two children, Kendra Faith Kirby and Kolton Charles Kirby, Kaitlin Brianna Kirby, with one child, Fennix Ayanna Oatis. Kathy is also survived by her two Sisters and three brothers, Barbara Hooker (Daniels), married to Howard Hooker, Mike Daniels, married to Sharon Daniels, Thad Daniels, married to Ruth Daniels, Jason Daniels, married to Sandy Daniels and Laura Wichern (Daniels), married to Mark Wichern; She was preceded in death by her Father, Luther Lee Daniels, who passed away on April 21, 2011 at the age of 89.

Funeral Services are provided by the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral home, but services are to be held at First Christian Church, located at 2299 Brew Street, Clear Water, FL, 33765. The Funeral Services are as follows: Visitation from 11-12noon, Funeral Service immediately following at 12noon, with no Cemetery Service.
