Mary Beth "Betty" Lenos

Mary Beth "Betty" Lenos, age 95 of Hamilton, passed away at Spring Hills Middletownon Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 12:35 AM. She was born in Oxford, Ohio on August 29, 1920 the daughter of Clarence and Olive (Smith) Darr. On April 29, 1946 she married Carl Lenos. Betty was a charter member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Lenos of Hamilton, son, William (Bethany) Pennington of Trenton; a daughter-in-law, Donna Lenos of Trenton; three sisters, Elsie (Tony) Vega of Hamilton, Jean (Eugene) Keith of Trenton, and Pearl Anspach of Waynesville; six grandchildren, Angie (Brian) Butts, Micah (Alison Foster) Lenos, Jill Murphy, William Carl Pennington, Becky Thomson, and Betsy (Jeff) Smith; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Lenos in 2008; and three brothers, Russell, Robert, and Roscoe Darr, and two sisters, Margaret Wagner and Blance Bailey.

Funeral service will be held at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 West State Street, Trenton, on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the church.
