Mary E. Napier, age 92 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 15, 2015. She was born in Hyden, Kentucky on November 17, 1922 to Boyd and Nannie (Woods) Jones. On June 9, 1944, she married Dan Napier and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Mary was devoted in her faith with the Lord and loved being around her family of 5 generations.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Stanley) Martin; grandchildren Mary (Ronnie) Nunn, Trisha (Roger) Turner and Steve (Elise) Martin; great grandchildren Shannon, Shaun, Emily, Ethan, Heidi, Blake and Carson; great great grandchildren Trey, Alexis, Breana, Lillie and Connor; one sister in law Betty Jones and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, 7 brothers Fred, Joey, Henry, Willie, Pleasie, Boyd Jr., Edwin and 4 sisters Sara Jane, Peggy, Ella, and Lila.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
