Mary "Jo" Ortt, age 80 of West Chester passed away at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:15 PM. She was born in Middletown on May 31, 1932 the daughter of Hubert and Mary (Slimak) Daughtee. Mary was employed as a dispatcher for Baltimore County Public Schools.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Ortt; four sons, Mike J. Ortt, Mike A. Ortt, Alvin Ortt Jr., and Daniel Ortt; two daughters, Debra Thornton and Gretchen Bienert; two brothers, Hubert Cole and Corky Cole; a sister, Sue Jean Faulkner; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, David T. Ortt.
Cremation was held. Funeral mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
