Mary K. Phelps

Mary K. Phelps, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Monday, December 22, 2025. Mary was born in Hyden, Kentucky on August 11, 1945, to Pleasie Jones and Dixie (Campbell) Jones.

Mary was a well-respected nurse for many years. She positively impacted many lives, both patients and coworkers alike, with her kind, compassionate care. She enjoyed gardening, mystery/crime tv and books, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always ready to show support for family any time she could.

Mary is survived by her children Arenzel Rowland Jr., Dixie Monnin, Joel Rowland, TJ Rowland, and Chris Rowland. Her 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, siblings; Pleasie (Bud) Jones, and many other family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Joel Damon Jones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011. Funeral service will be immediately following at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, at 6:00 PM.
