Mary A. Roark, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Southwest Ohio on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 9:42AM. She was born in Hamilton on December 25, 1944 to Orval and Ruth (Elliott) Yontz. She graduated from Lakota West High School. Mary was employed at Wright Bernett for 21 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Don Roark; one daughter, Krissy Dyehouse; three step children, Donnie (Jennifer) Roark II, Tina (Jamie) Balmer, Shawna (Mike)Warner; eight grandchildren , Kayla, Scott, Donnie III, Julia, Alec, Deaven, Braden, and Jaden; one great grandchild; and one sister, Sarah (Larry)Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson Brandon Keeler.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 12noon with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 11AM - 12noon at the funeral home.
