Mary C. Schlotterbeck

Mary C. Schlotterbeck, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7:20 AM. She was born in Hamilton on June 14, 1924 the daughter of James and Hazel (Gibbs) McNally. Mary was a member of VFW Post #1069 Auxiliary and the Fairfield Optimist Club, and was an avid bingo player. On November 1, 1941 she married William C. Haven, and he preceded her in death in 1965; on March 3, 1967 she married Richard J. Schlotterbeck, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Simon) Mishos, Glenna (Elmer) Cupp, both of Hamilton, and Tari (Terry) Bunting of Tempe, Arizona; a brother, James (Christine) McNally; nine grandchildren, Jeff, Jodi, Joni, Melissa, Andrew, Gregg, Will, Weston and Shea; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Scott Haven; two brothers, George McNally and Robert McNally; three sisters, Naomi McNally, Hazel Waddell, and Doris June Barker; and a great-grandson, Aaron Cupp.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Tom Strodtbeck of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be held at Greenwood Cemetery from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.
