Mary Louise Stumpf

Mary Louise Stumpf, age 85 of Hamilton passed away in Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 7:48 AM. She was born in Hamilton on August 7, 1923 the daughter of William and Jessie (Meachan) Stumpf Sr. Mary was an avid bowler in the Handicap League at Linden Lanes, a member of Senior Citizens, and was employed in packaging for Miami Valley Industries for 13 years.

She is survived by two brothers, William (Doris) Stumpf of Villages, Florida and Robert Stumpf of Hamilton; one sister, Darlene Stumpf of Hamilton; four nephews and one niece, Charles (Cheryl) Stumpf of Marion, Indiana, Timothy (Penny) Stumpf of Hamilton, Michael (Vicki) Stumpf of Seven Mile, William Stumpf of Monroe, and Kathy (Bill) Kugel of Trenton; also ten great-nieces and nephews, four great-great-nieces and nephews, and a childhood friend, Helen Mullins of Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Margaret Ann Stumpf; two sisters-in-law, Donna Stumpf and Becky Stumpf; and a great-niece, Kelly Stumpf.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
