Mary Edith "Posie" Webb, age 85 of Hamilton passed away at Huntington Court on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 9:05 PM. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on April 3, 1923 the daughter of Alfred and Goldie (Britton) Murrell. On March 31, 1939 in Clay County, Kentucky she married Benjamin Webb. Posie was a lifelong member of the Princeton Pike Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Webb; one son, Lewis Austin Webb; one daughter, Audrie Moore, all of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Harold) Brashear of Brunswick, Georgia and Mary (Philip) Snyder of San Diego, California; and five great-grandchildren, Allison, Rachel, Benjamin, Tyler Lynn and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ben, Thomas, and Alfred Murrell; and two sisters, Pat Judkins and Kay Wolfe.
Funeral service will be held at the Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton-Glendale Road, on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church.
