Mary A. Boggess

Mary A. Boggess, age 75 of Cincinnati, passed away at Mercy Hospital West on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2023. Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 31, 1948, she was the daughter of Fred and Cleotul Loukinas. Mary married her middle school sweetheart and love of her life, Alfred Boggess Sr., on December 21, 1965. Mary was a bus driver for Finneytown Local Schools for 20 years. She also served by her husband’s side, as he pastored Mt. Carmel Church of the Nazarene. Mary loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchild and most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mary was a prayer warrior and many lives were changed because of her.

Mary is survived by her children, Christina (Rob) Fox, Alfred Boggess Jr., Natalie (John) Headdy and Dougie (Sandee) Boggess; her grandchildren, Katelyn (Matt) Quinn, Logan Fox, Kayla and Kara Lee Boggess (and their mother, Ellen Boggess), Chris (Faith) Boggess, Alex and Robert Boggess and Zachary Headdy; her great-grandchild, Scarlet Jane Quinn and one on the way; and her siblings, Fritz, Chuck, Helen “Nannie”, and Dave. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Cleotul and Fred Loukinas; and her husband of 58 years, Alfred Boggess Sr. .

Visitation will be held at Walden Ponds Community Church of the Nazarene, 6590 Walden Ponds Circle, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
