Mary Ann Woolum, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Mary was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky on April 11, 1940 to the late William E. Horn and Mary Ethel (Haygood) Horn. After moving to Cincinnati to be closer to family, she went to work for General Electric where she would retire after 25 years of service. In that time, she met Bill Woolum and settled down in Hamilton. They enjoyed traveling together, having visited every state but Alaska. She was a long-time member of Stahlheber Baptist Church. She enjoyed decorating her home, crafting, and shopping, rather it be with her friends or on QVC. Mary is survived by her children, Kenton Caudill, Shirley (Rick) Retherford and Shelly (Lee) Hurt; her cherished and devoted friend, Louise Brock; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd Woolum; a daughter, Teresa Ann Caudill; and a son, Charles Caudill. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
