Maryjane Spurlock, age 92 of Fairfield, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 02:40AM. She was born in Jackson County, KY on April 1, 1922 to Haram and Betty (Isaacs) Fowler. Mary was employed at Golden Years Nursing Home as a Nurse’s Aide. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Gary) McGuire and Rick Spurlock, her grandchildren, Tracy, Erika, Jake, Joyce, Shelly, and Richard, her great grandchildren, Brent, Parker, Billy, Evan, Sidney, and Bradyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richmond Spurlock, her son, Wayne Spurlock, her four brothers and three sisters, and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1 PM with Pastor Kevin Jud of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 12-1 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
