Mary Lou Collins

Mary Lou Collins, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 3, 2022. Mary Lou was born in Hamilton County, Ohio on June 29, 1938 to George Melter and Mary C. (Ridout) Melter.  On June 28, 1958 in Cincinnati, she married Donald Collins, and he preceded her in death in 2011.  Mary Lou was the Queen of the kitchen, and also enjoyed gardening, antiques, music, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary Lou is survived by her children, Paige (Matt) Richardson, Victoria Collins, Sean (Sharon) Collins; four grandchildren, Mikaela, Jake, Alex, and George. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, George Melter and Mary C. Melter; husband, Donald L. Collins; her son Scott Collins; her daughter, Heather Collins; and her brother, George Melter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Josh Willis officiating. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations given to Faith Pentecostal Church, 1676 Eden Park Drive, Hamilton, OH 45013.
