Mathel D. Taylor

Mathel D. Taylor, age 86 of Millville, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Monday, November 15, 2021. Mathel was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 5, 1935 to the late J. G. and Gladys (Spaw) Dick. She enjoyed tending to her rose garden and socializing with her neighbors. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially when she was on her swing with her dog, Annie. Mathel will be dearly missed by her son, LeRoy (Patricia) Taylor, III; her grandchildren, Shelby (Tremayne Brown) Taylor, Courtney (Ian Gallant) Bowlsby; her great-grandchildren, Isabella Bowlsby, Aidyn Gallant, Lilly Gallant, Joshua Bowlsby and Jayden Brown; and her faithful canine companion, Annie. Mathel was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Taylor, Jr.; her siblings, Rufus Dick, Mabel Cooper, Lawrence Dick and Raymond Dick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
