Maxine Bellamy

Maxine Bellamy, age 93 of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Maxine was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 25, 1931 to William Jeffersonand Ruby Jane (nee Lacey) McCloud. She was a 1949 graduate of Lemon Monroe High School. On June 16, 1951, she married the love of her life, Albert D. Bellamy, DVM, who preceded her in death in 2010 after sharing 60 years together. Maxine was a devoted wife and mother, who made a home in numerous states and countries following her husband’s military career.

Maxine is survived by her children, Jane (Steve) Hileman, Linda Bellamy and Dwayne (Wendy) Bellamy; her grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Kristine, Leanne (Matt), Cameron (Elizabeth), Mitchell (Amanda), Blake (MaryAnn) and Sara Beth (Jake); her 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way; her sisters-in-law, Donna Wallace and Judith McCloud; and a host of nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Albert D. Bellamy, DVM; and her brother, William Jerry McCloud, MD.

Graveside service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
