Megan Sianna Smith

Megan Sianna Smith, age 22 of Fairfield passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008 following a courageous battle with several illnesses. She was born in Hamilton on January 2, 1986 the daughter of Samantha L. Turner and Eugene Smith. She was a member of Wind Cave Baptist Church in McKee, Kentucky.

She is survived by her mother, Samantha Turner of Fairfield; her father, Eugene Smith of Hamilton; a daughter, Sianna Selvage of Trenton; three brothers, Andrew Turner, Matthew Smith, both of Fairfield, and Bobby Smith of Hamilton; a sister, Misty Smith of Hamilton; grandparents, Gloria "Bibaw" and Arvel Gibson of Kentucky, and Leovia Smith of Hamilton; a special best friend, Sara; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alexa Jean Smith; and grandfathers Gary Turner and A.C. Smith.

Funeral service will be held at Franklin St. Baptist Church, 1100 Franklin St., on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Greg Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
