Melanie Ann (Minor) Horn

Melanie Ann (Minor) Horn, age 63 of New Miami, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Melanie was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 2, 1954 to Ruth (Minor) Asher. She worked as a barmaid at Williamsdale Inn for 20 years. She was a very kind and generous woman that touched the hearts of many.

Melanie is survived by her children, Doug Minor, Megan Horn, Michael (Crystal) Horn, Timothy (Abby) Horn; her mother, Ruth Asher; her 13 grandchildren, Josh, Tyler, Kearstyn, Corey, Joey, Michael, Dalton, Gage, Nick, Ethan, Kirah, Bella, and Kamyah; her 4 great-grandchildren, Madison, Joseph, Brinlynn, and Gannon; her sister, Stephanie (Eddie) Browning; special friends, Clint and Sarah Kelch; and many other close friend and family members. Melanie was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Horn and her step-father, Joe Asher.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 pm at VFW Post 7670, 4021 Trenton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
