Melanie Weber

Melanie Weber, age 59 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, May 25, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on November 7, 1949 the daughter of Louis and Donna J. (Seward) Privette. Melanie was a gifted seamstress who operated Melanie’s Mending and Melanie’s Halloween Costume Rental. She was also an avid crafter and member of the Butler County Genealogical Society. On June 7, 1969 in Hamilton she married Thomas W. Weber.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Weber of Hamilton; a son, Thomas W. (Melissa) Weber Jr. of Hamilton; a daughter, Gwendolyn S. Weber of Hamilton; two grandsons, Scott and Randall; two brothers, Robert (Marianne) Privette of Lexington, Ohio and Louis Privette Jr. of Hamilton; a sister, Donita (Ron) Pennington of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Privette.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ft. Hamilton ICU for their care and concern.
