Melvena A. Isaacs

Melvena A. Isaacs, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. Melvena was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 24, 1959 to Levi Isaacs and Nettie (Cox) Isaacs. She enjoyed keeping journals, watching TV and listening to her radio. Melvena loved hugs, her great-nieces and nephews, candy, and toilet paper. She was a Christian and loved Jesus, and her favorite name for her nieces were “Beeda Beeda” and her favorite phrase was “please please”.

Melvena is survived by nieces, Pamela (Jay) Sandlin, Cathy Clay and Beverly (Tom) Schlueter; nephews, Jim (Rhonda) Isaacs and Steven (Becky) Stigall; and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Melvena was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Nettie Isaacs; sisters, Margaret Carberry and Goldie Dunham; and nephews, Terry Stigall and Tony Harrison.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Walt Philpot officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
