Melvin "Joe" Beck, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Melvin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 17, 1941 to Melvin C. Beck and Helen Nastold Beck. Joe was an active member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society and Moose Lodge 501.
Joe is survived by his wife, Janet Beck; children, Peter (Melanie) Beck and JoAnn (Gerald) Cabacungan; grandchildren, Alex and Karis Beck, Alyssa, Joshua and Nicholas Cabacungan, Jennifer Greenwood; brother, Gregory (Vickie) Beck and numerous nieces and nephew. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rick, Bob and Carol Beck.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 5:00 PM with Dr. Rick Rhodus. Memorial contributions can be made to the West Side Baptist Church, 154 Gordon Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013 or The Gideons International, https://www.gideons.org/donate.
