Melvin Gibson, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Melvin was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 9, 1933 to Henry and Ella Mae (Fauver) Gibson. He enjoyed gardening, camping, going to church, taking care of his animals, and spending time with his family and friends.
Melvin is survived by his children, Jenny (Richard) Scott and Michael Gibson; his grandchildren, Melanie (Bobby) Wiesman, Joshua (Sammy) Scott, Adam Conley, Corey (Morgan) Conley; his great grandchildren, Chastity, Annalee, Peyton, Paisley, Cillian, Colton, and Leelan. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Zola (Allen) Gibson; his brothers, Donald and George Gibson; and his parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rudy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
