Merlin "Merle" Eversole, age 69, of New Miami, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday March 27, 2009. He was born April 13, 1939 in London, Kentucky the son of Robert and Ethel (Morgan) Eversole. Merle was a retired machine operator for AM General in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his five step-children, Dennis, Kevin, Kay, Debbie, and Michelle all of Indianapolis, Indiana; several step-grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Sharon) Eversole of Hamilton; a sister, Jessie Ehret of Upland, California; a half-brother Gene "Ed" (Della) Brock of Hamilton; and a half-sister, Naomi Lincks of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Eversole, Robert Eversole Jr., and R. C. Eversole.
Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Wednesday April 1st, at 1 PM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wed. from 12 noon to 1 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
