Merrill Brockman

Merrill Brockman, age 79 of Fairfield, passed away at Majestic Care on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Merrill was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 16, 1943 to Elbe Brockman and Birdie (Stewart) Brockman. He worked for Mayflower Vans for several years. Merrill enjoyed playing bingo and car races at the nursing home and was loved by everybody there. He always wanted to be taken home to Pop’s house. Merrill was a great horseshoe player, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews. He loved to attend church services and loved Jesus. Merrill was friendly with everyone he met and he will be dearly missed. Merrill is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Merrill was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters; Lola Donald, Viola Cornett, Opal Loman, Mabel Bailey, Wanda Oliver, and Dorothy Hale; and his brothers, Bradley Brockman, Warren Brockman, and Delbert Brockman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Graveside service to follow at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio.
