Michael Baker

Michael S. "Mike" Baker, age 65 of Camden, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 after a long courageous fight with Huntington’s Disease. He was born in Hamilton on June 20, 1949 to Coy and Edith (Conrad) Baker. Mike was employed at Champion Paper for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved all animals, he was also a member of the Ohio Quarter Horse and American Quarter Horse Associations.

He is survived by his fiancee, Joy L. Andrews, Camden, OH; his sister, Peggy (Stuart) Bridge; his nephews, Donald (Regina), Ronald(Diana), Daniel (Sonya), Terry Joe (Mary), Timothy (Debbie), and Nick; his brother-in-law, Rick Andrews; his great niece, Mallory Andrews; his son and 2 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Baker; his niece, Cheryl Thorne.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11AM with Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
