Michael E. Barrett

Michael E. Barrett, age 60 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Mike was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 5, 1958 to Elbert and Shirley Barrett. On September 30, 1999, Mike married Donna Chaney of Hamilton. Mike worked as a heavy equipment operator with Union Local 18. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna Barrett; his children, Jenni (Ken Molnar) Barrett and Mike (Dena) Ball ; his granddaughters, Rosalynn, Kayla, Kaitlin, Karly, and Kelsey; his mother, Shirley Barrett; his siblings, Debbie Fore, Scott Barrett, and Terry (Tatiana) Barrett; his nieces and nephews, that he loved, and many other loving family members and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Barrett; his daughter, Amanda Bowers; and his sister, Melinda Barrett.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:30 AM with Pastor Neil Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
