Michael "Big Mike" Freytag, age 24 of West Chester passed away on July 5, 2009. He was born in Hamilton on November 28, 1984 the son of Michael W. and Beverly (Waters) Freytag.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly and Scott Bower of West Chester; his father and stepmother, Michael W. (Patty) Freytag of Panama City, Florida; four siblings, Ryan Hubbard, Eric Freytag, Angela (Greg) Dawson, and Tricia (Travis Allen) Hubbard, all of West Chester; three stepbrothers, Rob, James, and Dustin Briscoe; grandparents, Hazel Waters and Walter Freytag; special friend, Abe "Bubby" Sahly; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Waters and Jackie Freytag and stepbrother, Doug Briscoe.
Funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Charles Petit of the New Beginning Tabernacle officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the chapel. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends who assisted them in many ways during this time.
