Michael Ray Spivey, age 55 of Middletown passed away at Kensington Place on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 6:25 AM. He was born in Middletown on October 3, 1955 the son of James and Eunice (Reynolds) Spivey. Michael was employed at AK Steel.
He is survived by five children, to whom he was a wonderful father, James Spivey of Middletown, Joey (Amy) Spivey of Trenton, Michael Ray Spivey Jr. of Middletown, Christy Spivey of Middletown, and Michelle Spivey of Princeton, Texas; five brothers, Wayne (Cathy) Spivey, Chuck Spivey, Keith Spivey, all of Middletown, Terry Spivey of Lebanon, and Paul Spivey of Colorado; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Coning of Hamilton Dream Center officiating. Cremation will be held. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
