Mike Lenos

Mike Lenos, age 61 of Trenton passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was born in Hamilton on January 26, 1947 the son of Carl and Mary Beth (Darr) Lenos. Mike was a taxidermist for over 30 years and was the owner/operator of Creations Taxidermy in Trenton. He was an avid supporter of Edgewood High School’s wrestling team, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

A beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, Mike is survived by his wife, Donna (Petrey) Lenos; four children, Angie (Brian) Butts, Monica Jill (Doug) Murphy, Micah (Doris) Lenos, and Shay Lenos; eight grandchildren, Carley, Sara, Zack, Colt, Blake, Donna, Shelby, and Lauren; his parents, Carl and Mary Beth Lenos; and a brother, Bill (Bethany) Pennington.

Funeral service will be held at the Edgewood Baptist Church, 5335 Trenton-Oxford Road, on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Keith Risner, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Edgewood High School wrestling team, c/o Mike’s family.
