Mildred Elaine Arnold

Mildred Elaine Arnold, age 77 of Fairfield passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 6:50 PM. She was born in Hamilton on November 15, 1932 the daughter of Lee Arlie and Hazel (Taggart) Murphy. Mildred was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God. On February 24, 1951 in Hamilton she married Doyle Arnold, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by two sons, Rev. Mark (Kim) Arnold of Fairfield and Gregory D. (Ginger) Arnold of Liberty Township; a daughter, Darla (Rev. Ron) Hodges of East Wenatchee, Washington; 11 grandchildren, Gregory Mark Arnold, Nicholas Andrew Arnold, Brandon Paul Arnold, Brittni Paige Elliott, Breck Phillip Arnold, Joshua Caleb Arnold, Ronald Wayne Hodges II, Luke Anthony Hodges, Matthew Quinn Hodges, Jason Bradford Walker, and Brandy Lynn Walker; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Murphy of Hamilton; two sisters, Helena Lakes and Joy (Vernon) Smith, both of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Arlie Murphy and Hazel Ray; a brother, Ray Murphy; and a sister, Rose Harden.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ron Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati for their loving care and support.
