Mildred Ann "Millie" James, age 85 of Hamilton passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 5:45 AM. She was born in Hamilton on September 21, 1926 the daughter of Walter and Eva (Morgan) Tirey.
Beloved mother of two sons, Steven (Janet) Adams, and Mike (Crystal Graft) Adams both of Hamilton; three daughters, Cathie (Al) Hughes of Laguna Beach, California, Robin (Jerry) Shuckman of Trenton, and Kimberly (Daniel) Flynn of Cape Coral, Florida; two brothers, Walter (Jenny) Tirey of Seven Mile and Robert Tirey of Hamilton; a sister, Maxine Vaughn of Hamilton; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Hospice Chaplain Jim Mousie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family with like to express gratitude to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
