Mildred May Nester Mullin

Mildred May Nester Mullin, age 76 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 4:08 PM. She was born in Grassy Meadows, West Virginia on January 31, 1934 the daughter of Jesse McCoy and Katherine Alice (Honaker) Nester. Mildred was employed at Champion Paper for 44 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and loved her dog, "Midnight." Mildred was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

She is survived by a son, Tim (Diana) Abrams of Berea, Kentucky; a sister, Ruby Ridell Dietzel of Rushville, Indiana; granddaughter, Missie Gregory of Hamilton; grandsons Paul Gregory of North Carolina, Walter Brian of Stanton, Kentucky, Tim Jr. and John Abrams of Berea, Kentucky, and Brad Hunter of Ohio; numerous great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pauletta Abrams; a granddaughter, Tonya Lynn Howard Jones; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Oscar, Bud and Johnny Nester; three sisters, Irene Fields, Naomi McKinney, and Jane Nester; and a nephew, Tom Wayne Nester.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Riley Parker of Somerville Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
