Millie E. Warren

Millie E. Warren, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 6:10 PM. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on January 30, 1922 the daughter of Roy and Elly Jane (Lakes) Gentry. Millie was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and an avid bingo player. In 1951 she married Monroe Warren in Liberty, Indiana.

She is survived by her son, Donald Warren of Hamilton; two daughters, Vickie Williams of Phoenix, Arizona and Melanie (Bob) Drew of Hamilton; two grand-daughters, Tiffany (Craig) Kremer of Hamilton and Brandi Drew of Fairfield Township; a brother, Edward (Betty) Gentry of Fairfield; two sisters, Elrena Hubbard and Barbara Chestnut, both of Hamilton; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Ruford and Herman Gentry.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Michael Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Birchwood Care Center and to the staff of Hospice of Southwest Ohio for all their loving care and support.
