Milton John Nicol

Milton John Nicol, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at VA Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 27, 1949 the son of Ralph and (Lilly) Hoffman Nicol. Milton was a veteran of Vietnam with the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. On October 13, 1995 in Oakland, Maryland he married Barbara Bechtol.

Milton is survived by his wife, Barbara Nicol; two daughters, Laura (Alexander) Whyle-Fusting and Suzanna (Zachary Jordan) Nicol; four grandchildren, Esther, Alexander, Zelda, and Oswald; his niece, Cassandra (Tom) Brown; four stepchildren, Steven (Laura) Scherra, Lora Christy, Lisa Scherra, and Linda Duckworth; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Chrissy (Neil) Hardebeck.

A celebration of life will be held at the Michael J. Colligan Lodge at Veterans Park, 10 New London Rd, Hamilton, OH 45013, on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Animal Adoption Foundation, 2480 Ross Millville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
