Mima Seeley Brinegar

August 29, 1934 — November 25, 2023

Mima Seeley Brinegar, age 89 entered her eternal resting place in Heaven on November 25, 2023. She was born in a log cabin in Olive Hill, Kentucky on August 29, 1934 to Edward Estill Knipp and Effie Mae (Clark) Knipp.  She accepted Jesus as her personal savior at a young age, and was a steadfast Christian throughout her life, setting the example to all who knew her to be faithful to God, despite adversity. In her later years, dementia robbed her of her memories, but it could not rob her of her love for others and God. She might forget your name or who you were, but she would always say "I love you” and she meant it. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late first husband, Dallas, nine sisters, Lillian, Marie, Lorraine, Selma, Evelyn, Christine, Virginia, Margie, Bonnie; four brothers, Ronnie, Woodrow, Curtis and Clyster; four sons-in-law, William “Bill” Wyatt, Alfred Keith, Omar Gabbard, Jr., Terry Henson. One sister, Irene (Don) Boebel, of Mansfield survives her.

In 1951 she married Dallas W Seeley. They had eight children, Eileen Wyatt of Hamilton, Darrel Seeley of Tucson, Arizona, Debbie Keith Gault of Hamilton, Evelyn (Martin) Parman of Camden, Ohio, Renita (Ray) McElravey, Laverne (Winfred) Colwell, Sherry Henson and Brian Seeley, all of Hamilton. She has 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

On August 14, 1977 she married James H. Brinegar of Camden, a sweet, loving, gentle man who treated mom like a Queen. He was much loved by our family. He passed in 1996. She is survived by his children Danny (Linda) Brinegar, Randy (Kathy) Brinegar, and Darlene Brinegar.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, December  5, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon with Pastors Brad Allen and Wilma Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
