Minnie Banks, age 80 of Hamilton passed away in Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 9:30 AM. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on October 24, 1927 the daughter of Hugh and Verdi (Hoskins) Webb. Minnie was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God, a life member of the DAV Chapter #1 and was employed as a cashier for Meijer’s for six years, retiring in 1999. On January 7, 1948 in Manchester, Kentucky she was married to William S. Banks.

She is survived by her husband, William S. Banks of Hamilton; one son, Billy Banks of Fairfield; one daughter, Sandra K. (Doug) McKeehan of Fairfield; one grandson, Sean (Rebecca) Banks of Fairfield; and three great-grandchildren, Nina, Noah, and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her parents and was the last surviving sibling of nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Bruce Hensley, Pastor of Delhi Christian Center officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Drs. Niehaus, Parker, Manavalan, and to the staff of the Gephart Center for their loving care and concern.
