Mona (Spivey) Grevey

Mona (Spivey) Grevey, 75, of New Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully at HPH Hospice on January 4, 2018. Originally from Hamilton, Ohio, Mona was born in McKee, Kentucky November 11, 1942 to Hazel (Wicker) Spivey and Clifton Spivey. Mona retired from management at Cincinnati Bell Telephone after more than 30 years of service and then enjoyed a successful second career in real estate in Ohio before coming to Florida. She was predeceased by her parents and loving husband, Norman G. Grevey. Mona and Norm were a devoted couple who enjoyed travelling and walking their favorite beaches in Florida. Mona will be remembered for her wonderful smile and generous nature. Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Carolyn) Terry of Wyoming, brothers, Clayton (Melissa) Spivey, Holiday, FL, Carl (Dianna) Spivey, Hamilton, OH, Boyd Spivey, McKee, KY, sisters, Norma Jean (Carmel) Abner, Richmond, IN and Gail (Donnie) Begley, Hamilton, OH, along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral ceremony 11:00 AM at the funeral home with internment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
