Monroe Jones

Monroe M. Jones, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital-Fairfield on Friday, February 12, 2021. Monroe was born in Vicco, Kentucky on March 26, 1941 to the late James and Sally (Combs) Jones. Known to many of his friends as Fred, he enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Monroe is survived by his children, Tina Hubbard and his son; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his sister, Frankie (Ronald) Combs; his brothers, James (Donna) Jones and Jeffrey (Sherry) Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Monroe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Allie (Feltner) Jones; an infant son, Edward Lee Jones; and two sisters.

Graveside Services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home of Hamilton, Ohio.
