Muerrelle A. Stidham

Muerrelle A. Stidham, age 60 of Trenton transitioned to her heavenly resting place Wednesday, July 5, 2023.  She was born August 31, 1962 in Hamilton, Ohio to Robert and Mary Boomershine (Lairson).  Muerrelle graduated from Ross High School and continued her education at D. Russell Lee.  She graduated from the LPN program in 1995.  Most of her nursing career was spent at Berkeley Square, where she met and loved so many people.  She lovingly referred to her coworkers as her "Berkeley girls, or work kids".  She taught so many of them to be the great nurses they are today.

Muerrelle enjoyed many things, but most of all, spending time with her family.  She was an amazing mother, grandmother,sister and wife.  She always tried to take care of everyone.  Her heart was so big, it was too big for this world.  She was kind, and so very selfless.  She loved not only the family she was born to, but also the family she chose for herself.  She was genuine to a fault, but gave the best advice and hugs.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary.  Several aunts and uncles.   Many siblings: Rex Allen, Betty Riley, Florence Roof, and Bobby Boomershine.  Three nephews: Michael Riley, Ray Riley and Justin Boomershine. And some very special in laws:  Jack and Geraldine Stidham, and Bob Smeal.

Muerrelle is survived by her children Amber (Matt) and James (Rebecca). Her husband, Michael. Her grandchildren, Emily (Skyler), Dominic, and Malakai.  Muerrelle also was so very excited that she was to become a great grandmother, to Violett Ember Smith due in the month of her passing.  Also deeply affected by her passing are her remaining siblings: Skip, Terry, Bobbie, Kathy, Debbie, Tim, Rick, and Rocky.  Sister in laws Sandy and Pam.  Mother in law Nancy Smeal. Her neices and nephews are plenty, as well as cousins and friends.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, with Lisa Zimmers officiating.   330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio,  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
