Nana Mae Williams

Nana Mae Williams, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Nana was born in Yerkes, Kentucky on February 7, 1932, to Willie and Shirley (Hamblin) Asher. She was a devoted member of Pentecostal Faith Church, New Miami, OH. Nana was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Hamilton. Her family and faith were her life. Nana enjoyed ceramics, gardening, and reading. On June 6, 1952, she married Charles Williams, in Jeffersonville, IN, and together they had three children.

Nana is survived by her children, Dale L. (Rebeckah) Williams Sr., Maude S. (Richard) Criswell, Timothy W. Williams; her grandchildren, Bridget (Mark) Vaughn, Sarah (Keyhun) Kennedy, Dale L. Williams II, Elizabeth (Sean) Greller, Amanda "Mimi" (George) Zenni, Becca (Keith) Cunagin, Joseph (Amanda) Criswell, and Nicholas M. Williams; her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Michael, Adam, Lillian, Lazarus, and Isabella; her siblings, Willie Ray Asher, Nick (Linda) Asher, and Phillip (Linda) Asher; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Nana was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams, her parents, and several siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Pentecostal Faith Church, 30 Cain Ave., Hamilton, OH, 45011 on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastors Steve Allen & Nicky Spicer (nephew) officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, OH 45013.
