Nancy L. Arthur, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at Kettering Hospital Hamilton on Saturday, May 16, 2026. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 14, 1935 to Karl and Evelyn (Eagle) Bake. Nancy was affectionately known as Fancy Nancy and she never met a stranger. She was employed as the Secretary Administrator to the President and Chairman of the Board of Citizens Bank for 17 years, retiring in 1985 and then as the owner and operator of Arthur Limousine Service for 19 years, retiring in 2005. Nancy was a volunteer at Berkley Square and Westover Retirement Communities for 16 years. She was the secretary of the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Limousine Association, member of the City of Hamilton Bicentennial Commission, and the Butler County Historical Society. On October 27, 1978, in Hamilton she married Floyd Arthur and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Nancy was happiest spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (J.R.) Williams; two grandchildren, Cameron Williams and Courtney Williams; her loving dog, Scotty; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William R. Bake; and granddaughter-in-law, Ivanna Williams.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Steven Botts of Berean Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Butler County Historical Society or the SPCA.
