Nancy M. (Lopriore) Augspurger

Nancy M. (Lopriore) Augspurger, age 85 of Hamilton passed away at The Knolls of Oxford on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 3:45 AM. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on April 22, 1924 the daughter of Lee and Mollie (Lewis) Cole. Nancy belonged to the Hamilton High School Class of 1943. She enjoyed big band music, dancing, and loved gatherings with her family and friends. On December 1, 1945 she married Roch Lopriore, and he preceded her in death in 1984; on June 27, 1990 she married Cliff Augspurger, and he preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by a son, David Lopriore of Hamilton; a daughter, Melanie (Steve) Miller of Hamilton; two stepsons, Larry (Janet) Augspurger and Roy (Judy) Crowthers, both of Hamilton; a stepdaughter, Debbie (Bert) Treat of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Adam (Michelle) Miller of Oxford and Lance Miller of Hamilton; numerous step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren; and a special and devoted friend, Jim Durrough of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jerea Schantz; and three brothers, Perry, Lee, and Bob Cole.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Harold Thompson, Pastor of Stahlheber Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shared Harvest Food Bank, 5901 Dixie Highway, Fairfield 45014-4207 or to Hospice of Cincinnati, Inc. c/o Bethesda Foundation, Inc.
